Secure Hard Drive Destruction in Bellingham, WA – 1PC

In today’s digital age, simply deleting files or formatting a hard drive is no longer enough to protect sensitive information. Whether you're a business upgrading old systems or an individual cleaning out old tech, data security should always come first. That’s where 1PC comes in.

Why Hard Drive Destruction Matters

Old hard drives often contain sensitive data—customer records, personal files, financial information, and more. Without proper destruction, that data could be recovered by bad actors.

At 1PC, we offer secure, certified hard drive destruction services to businesses and individuals in Bellingham, WA, and the surrounding areas. Our service ensures complete data elimination while prioritizing environmental responsibility.

Our Hard Drive Destruction Process

When you choose 1PC, you're choosing a partner who values:

  • 🔒 Security – We follow NIST SP 800-88 standards to ensure full data sanitization.
  • ♻️ Eco-Friendly Disposal – After destruction, all materials are responsibly recycled.
  • ⏱️ Quick Turnaround – Drop off your drives—we’ll take care of the rest.
  • 📄 Certificate of Destruction – Upon request, at a rate of $10 a drive, we provide official documentation for compliance and peace of mind.

If you would like your drives to be physically shredded in our shredder, along with a certificate that they have been physically shredded, please let us know when making the payment for the certificate so we can get them shredded ASAP.

If not specified, your drives will be physically evaluated for resale value. For a drive to be valuable, it must be above a certain storage capacity and be a relatively modern drive connection type, such as SATA or NVMe. If they are found to have resale value, we will wipe them to NIST 800-88 Purge standards, with 10% verification. If the drives are not physically valuable, they will be shredded in our shredder.

Again, for either a certificate of physical drive shredding, or data destruction to NIST 800-88 Purge standards, the cost is $10 a drive.
